About Sukalyani
Sukalyani is a professional counsellor with 8 years of experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Attachment-focused Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (AF-EMDR). She has lived & practised in multiple countries (Australia, Singapore & India) and is currently based in Singapore. Her multi-country and multicultural exposure has given her a deep understanding of human behaviour and their challenges in diverse environments. She is a specialist in customising therapeutic treatments depending on the needs of the client.

Sukalyani has completed a Masters Degree in Counselling from Monash University, Australia, Post Graduate Diploma - Social Health & Counselling from Macquarie University, Australia, Certificate in Artistic Therapy from Sophia College, Australia and Level 1 & 2 Gottman couple therapy practitioner.
She is a registered member of Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC), Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (APACS) Singapore.
Sukalyani's Approach
Sukalyani’s wealth of experience includes supporting clients across a variety of personal, professional and relationship issues such as depression, anxiety, stress management, anger management, emotion regulation, trauma, caregiver fatigue and marriage issues. Her own experience as an expat spouse has given her first-hand understanding of expatriate life, associated challenges for children and families due to relocations, demands of global roles, work/life balance and loss of identity for ‘trailing spouses’, etc.
Sukalyani strongly believes that every client is unique and born with an ability to become someone and she/he needs the right guidance and support to transform and live a life of meaning and purpose. She views every therapeutic relationship between client and therapist as a partnership with mutual trust, respect, commitment and honesty to explore new perspectives and purpose.
