Kai Xuan is a counsellor-in-training at Psychology Blossom, where she excels in active listening and providing compassionate emotional support to her clients. With her multicultural background, being born and raised in Malaysia, Kai Xuan brings a unique and inclusive perspective to her practice.

Kai Xuan specializes in various areas, including anxiety, attachment wounds, grief and loss, relationship issues, school or work-related stress, grief, childhood trauma, social interactions, stress, transition and adjustment issues. She also helps work through teenage issues such as self-esteem issues, self-confidence issues, anxiety and depression.
Kai Xuan completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Psychology from Murdoch University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counselling at Monash University. She is completing her placement at Psychology Blossom and currently holds a full-time research assistant position at the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS). In this role, she contributes to research studies and projects, conducting health and cognitive assessments with the participants.
Kai Xuan utilises techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Gottman’s Couples Therapy to conduct her sessions. She is actively seeking additional training for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Aside from English, Kai Xuan also offers mindfulness sessions in Mandarin. Her approach is characterised by her empathetic nature and genuine care. She believes that everyone is unique and is dedicated to listening and providing support whenever needed.
