Zofia brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her practice. As a mother of third-culture kids, Zofia understands the unique challenges faced by expatriates and is passionate about helping her clients navigate these difficulties in both short-term and long-term therapy.
Zofia is an animal and nature lover, with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. She respects and honours each individual’s unique background and upbringing, striving to provide a welcoming and affirming space for all her clients. She strives for cultural humility and maintains an affirming, sensitive stance in her work with individuals from all backgrounds and identities.
Zofia specializes in addressing emotional instability, third culture challenges, relationship difficulties, stress and burnout, and breaking negative patterns. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome these obstacles and unlock their true potential, particularly in the context of relocation struggles.
Zofia is committed to supporting individuals facing various life challenges and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counselling at Monash University, Australia. She has a strong academic background that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Murdoch University and a Diploma in Psychology from Kaplan Professional. Her professional qualifications are further enhanced by specialized training, including Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Treating Affairs and Trauma from The Gottman Institute, as well as certificates in The Science of Well-Being from Yale University, Schizophrenia from Wesleyan University, and ADHD: Everyday Strategies for Elementary Students from the State University of New York.
