Khalid believes in a client-centered approach to counselling, emphasizing the importance of empathy, active listening, and respect for each person’s unique experiences. Originally from Morocco, Khalid has lived and worked in Spain, China, UK and Singapore, giving him a rich multicultural background that allows him to connect with clients from diverse walks of life. Fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish, Khalid is well-equipped to support individuals across different languages and cultures.
Khalid works with adults and specializes in helping individuals navigate personal challenges, career transitions, life transitions, work-related issues, self-confidence and self-esteem concerns, stress, anxiety, procrastination and relationship issues. Drawing from his own professional and personal experiences, he understands the complexities of change and is committed to fostering resilience in his clients.
Khalid is currently completing his Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology. With over 20 years of experience in leadership, project management, and operations, Khalid has developed strong skills in communication, empathy, and adaptability, qualities he now brings into his work as a counsellor.
Khalid’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive-Behavioural techniques (CBT) with Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), providing a safe, supportive space where clients can freely and safely explore their thoughts and emotions. By blending these two approaches, he creates a balanced environment that addresses both the cognitive and emotional aspects of a person’s experience, which can meet the unique needs of each client.
