Key Responsibilities a. Provide counselling to individuals, couples, families, children, and youth within your trained areas. b. Conduct sessions following ethical and professional standards (SPS / SAC). c. Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes. d. Assist psychologists in sessions and support parallel sessions with client consent. Requirements a. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling, Psychology, or equivalent. b. Registered with, or eligible for registration with, SAC / SPS. c. Comfortable with diverse client presentations. d. Able to commit 1–2 days onsite weekly for non-client-facing tasks. Preferred / Bonus a. Counselling in a second language (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, French). b. Availability for evenings and Saturdays. c. Support the administrative team with day-to-day tasks and help ensure smooth clinic operations. This includes opening and closing procedures, welcoming clients, offering refreshments, coordinating logistics via WhatsApp, and using the Plato system when permitted. You will help keep the clinic tidy and welcoming by maintaining the pantry, caring for plants, collecting mail, and organising spaces. You will also manage logistics, such as ordering supplies, preparing and filing invoices, and keeping clinic areas presentable. Build positive relationships with clients by providing friendly and supportive service. Participate in meetings, supervisions, and assessments with psychologists, assist with intake assessments, scoring, and interpretation under supervision, and learn mindfulness practices to support psychologists’ sessions.
